Q: Can I send my own SD card?    

A: Yes please! Include it in the slot. At least 128GB is recommended.

Q: Will I lose any games or saves?   

A: No, in fact you will now have the ability to duplicate, edit, and backup your saves forever using JKSV.

Q: How long does it take? 

A: One or two days. And then it goes back in the mail to your address.

Q: How can I trust you?  

A: Our owner and lead tech is an expert at electronics repair, not a hobbyist.

I am humble in life, but a braggart with my repair skills.  Good hands, lots of practice, all the tools.

• The modification is delicate to install, but quite robust once completed.

• We only use the "Kamikaze" method, the highest quality hardmod technique.

• The Kamikaze method involves running a tiny wire from an exposed trace in your Switch's motherboard.

• The mod can be uninstalled by a modder later if you like without damaging the device.

• In most cases, your Switch OLED will be shipped back to you via USPS free of charge, after about a day or two.

• We use Picofly kits with the RP2040 Raspberry Pi chip.

• You will have effectively two Switch OLEDs: your original console as you shipped it, and a clone that's fully unlocked

• Sagebrush Repair does not offer support for Piracy or Homebrew troubleshooting; we can and will fix any problems you have with the mod, but can not support the software you run on it.

• Running your Switch in CFW mode is the 100% best way to ensure your Switch stays unnoticed by Nintendo. 

• Send your Joycons as well to upgrade them to tech from this century. 
• TMR is a newer tech that won't and can't drift off center.  
• We use Guilikit TMR joysticks that perform great and have extended lifespans/swappable colored thumbpads. 
• OWNER NOTE: They feel a liiiitle bit different, but the circularity is spot-on, and you can set the deadzone to NOTHING AT ALL.  

• Hardmodded Switches REQUIRE a microSD card to function at all. 

• You may choose one of our cards or ship us yours for no upcharge

• MicroSD card read speeds of 110-130MB/S are ideal, being slightly faster than the Switch's physical slot can do.

Why does it need an SD Card?

• Your switch has a tiny SD card already inside it in the form of the MMC chip soldered to the board. 
• The microSD card is used to mirror this MMC perfectly and then allows you to modify and run code from it, this is the entire goal of the mod.

What goes on the microSD card?

• H.A.T.S is included with all installs unless you request it to not be.
• H.A.T.S. is a community made collection of very powerful apps and menus. 
• It's the preferred package for Picofly modded Switches, however H.A.T.S. is just one collection, your newly unlocked Switch is now capable of most any task.
