Supported Devices
Sagebrush Repair provides service on the following products: Laptop Computers, Desktop Computers, Gaming PCs, gaming consoles such as PS4, XBOX, Valve Steam Deck, ASUS ROG Ally, and Nintendo. Phones and tablets are NOT ACCEPTED UNER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Other devices are at the discretion of the owner, but ability to service is never guaranteed, either implicitly or explicitly.
Estimates
I provide estimates on all standard supported products. I attempt to provide estimates on unsupported products but do not guarantee ability to do so. Estimates can typically be given in person and on the spot, however it may also take over 24 hours.
Over-the-phone/email/chatbox only quotes are not binding; they serve as informative references ONLY for my customers. While I aim to provide an accurate estimate, the true physical condition of a device may only be fully assessed when I've taken it apart and examined it. Your device may still have a warranty from your place of purchase or the manufacturer themselves. I will attempt to keep any warranty the device may still hold, unless directed otherwise.
I have had a lot of experience in diagnosing computers, however, in the course of diagnosing your device, my estimate may undergo changes. If I find the need to revise the estimate, I'll promptly inform you of the reasons and seek your approval before proceeding.
Full Warranty
All service performed by Sagebrush Repair in a Sagebrush Repair facility (except those listed in the Full Warranty exclusions section, below), using parts purchased by Sagebrush Repair, to fix a specific symptom or device issue, is guaranteed for 90 days from the date of the service. If multiple issues or symptoms are addressed by a repair, all are covered by the 90 day guarantee period. The guarantee does not cover issues that may develop within the guarantee period that are not related to services performed or to the original issue or symptom diagnosed and repaired.
All parts obtained by Sagebrush Repair for service on your device are guaranteed for 30 days from the time of installation, and are covered under warranty. Parts purchased for a repair cannot be refunded, upgraded, or returned for credit. Parts that failed after 30 days but before 90 may be discounted, but will need to be repurchased. Parts are not guaranteed to be new unless explicitly stated. While I prefer using new parts as often as possible, often only used or refurbished parts are available. Used and refurbished parts are still covered under the Sagebrush Repair Full Warranty.

NOTE: If your device is physically tampered with or damaged within the warranty period, the Sagebrush Repair Full Warranty is void. Similar for the Sagebrush Repair Limited Warranty. This includes but is not limited to cracked screens, dents to the casing, internal damage not present at time of original repair, attempts to modify the device, or any other action, accidental or intentional, that could cause our repair to fail.
Replacement Parts Procedure
If a service requires parts to complete, I will contact and inform you of the need prior to ordering any parts. I will explain the part needed, why it’s necessary, any associated costs, and give an estimate of when the part will likely arrive. Due to shipping times being beyond my control, my estimate is a best guess and is not intended to guarantee arrival by a specific time.
If you would like to hold on to your device until parts come in, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the cost of the ordered parts will be required.
Sagebrush Repair will generally not use parts not purchased by Sagebrush Repair. Exceptions to this are generally allowed if parts can be purchased locally to save carbon.
Any replacement parts not supplied by Sagebrush Repair are not covered by any kind of warranty or guarantee except as might be provided by the part manufacturer, which is generally better for you anyway.
In general, by providing your own parts, you agree that the warranty is void. Exceptions to this will be noted and made clear at time of purchase (ex. I asked you to purchase a part).
Manufacturer Warranty Repair
Some services performed by Sagebrush Repair may void your manufacturers warranty. Where I can, I will try to inform you before proceeding. Some manufacturers provide exemptions for professional repair shops, though I cannot guarantee in any way that yours will, nor do I have a list of manufacturers who do provide such exceptions. Always check with your manufacturer before bringing a device still under warranty in for repair work.
Any repairs or modifications to iMac, MacBook, or Mac lines WILL void your warranty. By accepting service from Sagebrush Repair, you understand and agree that I am not held liable for voiding your device's manufacturer warranty.
Repair Time Estimates
Estimates and repairs will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
I strive to be able to provide an on-the-spot estimate to all of our customers, however due to the complicated nature of most modern electronics, I will often not be able to provide an exact estimate and diagnosis until I open the device and examine it thoroughly. In this circumstance, I try to provide an estimate within 24 hours of the device being left with me, however I do not make any guarantees, implicit or explicit, of the exact time until you receive a diagnosis and estimate.
I pride myself on the speed of my repairs, however many of the factors that determine the length of your repair are beyond my control. As such, I will attempt to service your device as soon as possible in the order it was received. Many of my repairs are completed in 24-48 hours, however I offer no guarantees of how long your service will take. Any references to service times on my website or in promotional materials are my best estimates based on previous experience and are not meant to represent an exact time frame or offer any guarantees of service time.
For customers needing the quickest repair possible, Rush Service is available, and may incur an additional Rush Service Fee based on my current job volume and the complexity of your repair. Rush Service guarantees only that your device is moved to the top of our repair queue and that your device is looked at and serviced by me before any other devices which may have come in before yours. It is not to be taken as a contract, guarantee, or promise for any specific time frame in which your device is finished.
Equipment Storage and Handling
Due to storage concerns (my garage is not small, but not huge), I will hold on to devices for up to 30 days after I contact you for delivery. I can deliver to neighbors, businesses you trust, friends and family that you specify, I will ask them for ID. Please know your neighbor/friend/family member's full name and provide it to me or delivery.
After 30 days, if I have not heard from you I will consider your device abandoned and it will become property of Sagebrush Repair. I cannot guarantee that your equipment will not be discarded after the initial 30 day period, so it is critical that you accept delivery, pick up, or make arrangements with Sagebrush Repair to store your equipment until it can be delivered or shipped to you.
Payment
Sagebrush Repair accepts all major credit cards, PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle and USD cash. I require upfront deposit payment for estimates and diagnosis for pickup and delivery. The payment covers travel, diagnosis, and one hour of repair time. I do not charge to speak to you. I will not ask you for a deposit unless I need to order parts and you elect to hold on to your device until parts come in, or if I need to order specialized parts for data recovery services.
Payment of any balance is due before or upon delivery of your device. You are invited to use your device to determine that the issue you asked resolved has been successfully resolved. You are absolutely allowed to request changes or discuss repair quality. Changes may come with additional charges.
Sagebrush Repair does not accept checks or payment plans. Please have the full total due ready when you arrange delivery or pickup.
Data
Sagebrush Repair does not guarantee the security or safety of your data. While I take every precaution possible to make sure the integrity of your data is unaffected, I cannot assume liability for any lost data as a result of services performed by Sagebrush Repair. You should back up your data if you want to keep it!
If I am aware that a procedure may result in loss of data, I will inform you of the possibility, what data may be affected, and will offer to back your data up at an additional cost. However, due to the complex nature of electronic devices, I cannot in advance predict what may happen to your data in every situation. I strongly encourage you to back up any important files and documents before you bring your device in for service.
My Data Recovery services require highly specialized knowledge, tools, and parts. As such, please be advised that both estimates and services involving Data Recovery typically take longer than hardware-related service. Sagebrush Repair will not charge you for any attempted recovery unless I manage to recover the data you are looking for, with the following exceptions:

Information Collection and Use
While using my website or visiting my home, I may ask you to provide me with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you regarding questions, comments, services requested, product offers, service updates, send confirmations, invoices, updates, and support and administrative messages. Personally identifiable information refers to information that is connected to your name and may include things such as your e-mail address, mailing address, or telephone number.
Log Data
I may collect information that your browser sends me when you visit my website (“Log Data”). This Log Data can include information including but not limited to: your computer’s internet protocol address, browser type, browser version, and screen resolution, the pages of this website that you visit, the order in which you visited them, and any interactions you had with this website while visiting. I may also collect time and date stamps of your visit and other data regarding your usage of this site. Cancellation and returns
I reserve the right to cancel any agreement to repair if either I deem my services unfit (i.e. I don't know how to repair), or the repair unfit for my honest and legally acceptable services (i.e. unlocking phones, password removal, security bypassing...). If I cancel any services, a full refund will be given and the device returned how it arrived.
Security
No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While I will do my best as is reasonably possible to protect your Personal Information, I cannot absolutely guarantee its security.
Access and Choice
Sagebrush Repair has implemented the following procedure that you may use to access, correct, or delete your personally identifiable information, or choose how your information is used. If you would like to know, access, correct, or delete the types of information that Sagebrush Repair collects from visitors to its website, please email me at the address listed below under “Contact Us”.

If I have to build an ego up for you it's this: My entire life has been taking apart and fixing electronics, but I'm still able to talk to humans. I'm good at this and genuinely love doing it. That's all the gloating you get.
