Sony made the heck out of this controller, however they opted to use an old unreliable technology.
Modding your Dualsense or Dualsense Edge with TMR or Hall-Effect joysticks (pictured) eliminates drift from worn out potentiometer joysticks they ship with. Sagebrush Repair prefers Aknes or Guilkit's excellent joysticks.

Dualsense TMR Replacement
Disassembly is easy, desoldering the old sticks is pretty easy with a preheater and hot air. Care must be given to not flex the board when using hot air.

Four controllers, one model, 3 revisions represented, two 001, a 002 and a 004. Luckily they all use the same stick footprint and parts are cheaper for it!
